Public Tally collects only the information needed to respond to inquiries, process orders, and improve the source-backed reports we provide to civic vendors.

Order and payment status from Stripe. Payment card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by Public Tally.
Basic site analytics and request metadata, such as pages visited, browser type, device type, and approximate location derived from IP address.
How we use information
To answer requests, deliver paid reports, operate checkout, prevent abuse, and improve Public Tally's product and outreach.
To send service messages about an inquiry, report, subscription, invoice, or account relationship.

Public Tally reports rely on publicly available records and source links. Report evidence may include public agency names, websites, meeting materials, procurement pages, accessibility notices, and related business context.
